Tell me about your favourite music album- You know the one you have had for years and yet you still play it all the time. The one album you would take to a deset island with you. Tell me why you love it so much.

For me its the Layla album by derek and the dominoes. Ive been listening to it for near 25 years now. For me it represents eric claptons best guitar work and in almost all the songs you can hear his outpouring of love for a woman he could not have at the time(patty harrisson). Duanne allman features heavily in the album too and he was regarded as being the finest slide guitarist that ever lived. Eric and duanne seemed to bring out the best in each other and a classic masterpiece was born.

one of mine is a bit unusual, "Pandora's Box - Original Sin"
one of Jim Steinman's (bat out of hell) projects.
that ugly bint Celine Dion, covered(badly) "It's All Coming Back To Me Now" from this album.

This is very hard to chose from so many classics pink Floyd animals takes some beating you cant ignore the Beatles white album absolute classic. Then you could go for the black album Metallica, name any of the led zeppelin albums, you cant ignore exodus bob Marley(god rest his soul and peter tosh) or even the stone roses even the waterboys fisherman's blues .
But the album i would have to take with me is
Rust Never Sleeps by Neil Young
It just class from start to finish has some many different moods in it and the lyrics are amazing.

:party : Bred on a diet of Led Zeppelin , Deep Purple , Pink Floyd, Black Sabbath, etc , but love it all , from Jethro Tull to Northern Soul, bring it on !
But on Tuesday night, found myself bopping away to the dance version of Whitney Houston " I'm every woman" on MTV, bloody brilliant !:party :

Bob Marley & The Wailers - live at the roxy. had a bootleg of this from the early 80s before it was released on cd.

The wailers in '76, at the peak of their powers, in my opinion

The one album you would take to a desert island with you.
Message in a Bottle by The Police. LOL!

I like to listen to music which chills me out. Love listening to a 'raw' womens voice and a bit of a melody. Was going to go for Joni Mitchell, but will go for 'Tapestry' by Carole King.
