I find dump in another forum with same numbers as my radio,but now have different problem.....radio stays in SAFE,and i cant enter my code....i try everything,but no luck...leave radio on table with power on for couple hours,press SCAN+RDS...RDS+TP nothings helps.....looks like radio faulty for me,or i wrong?

Hi friend, Please check "SAFE" pin... connect to +12volts. Better try dump I posted...

today I had a symphony II with S220, I read original dump but I can't enter the code, just "safe" was displayed .

I try other dump, unit start without code , but after few seconds CHECK message apear in LCD.

So I must reset error counter in original dump. After that with SCAN + RDS I initiate code enter procedure.

here are dump for your unit (8E0 not 8P0) but must work.
write one (by one) of this dump, but keep the same x8 or x16 write mode setting
it's important x8/x16 read/write mode used in allocation table of eeprom data.
here are some differences from one programmer tool to other.

Thank you for help,but i give back radio.Looks like problem someplace else,because i try 3 dumps with same result.Someone before me try to decode radio with no luck.And another story about this car+radio,she was under water for couple hours and after this they fix car,but radio newer back from SAFE:)Thanks for help.
