08 reg mondeo tdci 2.0 fuel problem

have a mondeo in and not starting,it was serviced friday and car turns over but fails to start looking at main fuel pipe big air bubble about 10" away from fuel pump,no diesel could be sucked up so removed new filter in under the floor at back of car,shone a torch in and saw sparkles of metal fragments,not good,i believe the diesel pump is ~~~~ed and leaving fragments everywhere, i was told tank needs to be dropped and cleaned,pump,injectors common
rail cleaned,no idea whats involved in the diesel removal and refitting tools?

at a guess ?2500 - but as your in Eireland that about 3000 Grouts

nope euro 4000 lol,strange car now starts and customer went home to google and cry,its a common problem i believe.
