Domain names

Hello All,

What is the best way to market Domains for sale....?? I have had a look on Fleabay, but dont think that that is the best place to flog'em...??

Has anyone any experience of the best way to sell them?

I think possibly advertise on the home page and get it to the top in Google search, but not sure how to do that - any ideas?

With Google, lots of other people are trying to get high rankings and then there's those that 'pay' to get rankings so trying to raise your own rankings is likely to be quite time consuming and ultimately have little real effect.

Home-page adverts are certainly one way to go and you may get somewhere but your best bet may be targetted emails to sites that have the same or a similar name (ie same domain name different top level - eg: .co.uk instead of .com) and companies that may have an interrest in your particular domain names. Do some research to maybe try to identify parties that may be interested.

There are also specialist domain resellers but it will depend on your particular domain names as to how succesful they will be. They also often charge 50-75% of your asking price in brokerage charges.
