Kia soul 2009

Ola friends,

I have a question, is it possible to do a 2009 kia soul without the fancy tools.

I opened the dash and found a 93s56 eep, but i am not able to read this eep.

I tried several times, connections are good, new clip tried no help.

tried with 3 several programmers, nothing.

Is this possible only by eep or is the nec cpu also involved.

Mate i always remove eep so that cant cause the problem.
I need to be sure that the milleage is in the eep.

i had the same problem in this kia soul 2010 model year and i did read it with 3 interface reader cannot read, i used dp3 to read and the mile age shows up correct reading then i tried to change the mile age nothing is happening,,, still showing original kilometers... then what i did is i changed the eeprom 93s56 into RA57 which is 93c56 i saved the file of the 93s56 in my dp3 and uploaded to new ic and tried to change mile age using dp3 and it was succefully changed... hope this can help....

Its a 93s56, you need to select S56 option c56 en s56 you can read the same way But writting is different.
