What is this i am hearing here there and everywhere about double cluching

What the hell is it and how is it done.

Do you mean Double Clutching???
If so from what I remember its was done before the syncromesh gearbox, what you had to do was from the gear you were in engage the clutch put into neutral let out the clutch then engage clutch again and put into gear release clutch!!

Think you still have to do it in HGVs ?? Might be wrog though.
