hi guys i did a 2008 sprinter today
the mileage was showing - - - - -
and i know this from experience something is not right with the motor when its showing this on the clocks
now i did the mileage as per usual as i got it to display the orig mileage for about 2 seconds before going back to - - - - - -
after i finished the clocks i connected them back up and it showed my new value for about 5 seconds b4 going off due to no EZS.
did EZS with 100 miles and connected all back into van
mileage showed for 2 seconds then back to - - - - - -
i did a diagnostics on the van and noticed there had been a few donor modules stuck in. i know for fact the ECU had be swapped out as its ORIG and CURRENT VIN were both the same but different to the one down the side of the seat. as was the ABS and a couple of others.
my questions to any of you guys on here who may know is this....
are the - - - - - - showing cos all modules are not programmed with the correct VIN number ???
and if my man programs the modules up with the correct VIN in each module will the mileage show up as normal and stay on.
i did notice when i turned the ignition on the clock on the dash was showing some sort of error code and flashing it LA:22 or something similar.
any ideas any1 ?
