Eutelsat W3C at 16E - can't find it

Hi - I am having problems finding Eutelsat W3C 16E which shows Tring (EPL football). Just re-set up my receiver and I can get Eutelsat W2 15.8E but W3c 15.8 does not show on my available satellite list.

Could anyone offer some advice on how I go about getting this please

doesnt matter what it is called , just get the 15.8e satellite as they changed it to W3C last november after its launch and made the others redundant

Ok, thanks but still confused - I am not picking up Tring channels on 15.8E and on Lyng Sat it still shows as W3C 16E - is there anything else I should be doing to pick up Tring?

try a manual scan of

11282 v 27500 on 16e
you should pick up the tring channels
but only tring one shows picures
the others show when 3pm matches are on

When I updated my satellite.xml file it has changed from 15.8e back to 16e not sure if this is common.

Tring sport scans in the channel names sport1-4 see if you can see them

Make sure you have the dish set correct this is the strongest channel on that satellite

working ok here on 11283V 27500

I also get vizion plus on that same transponder

also try aljazeerah balkans on 12676 H 2800 or tvr info on 11475V 29950

its all on W3C since the changeover, no matter what your satellite is named in your list, so just change it if it bothers you

You are right the transponder is on W3C - I wasn't getting a signal so moved dish and locked onto a decent signal. Then run channel scan and it is going to 11282 v 27500 but then not picking up any channels. I am going back to the transponder and the signal has been lost even though position saved - any ideas???

seems to me you arent on the correct satellite

try those fta channels and transponders I gave you before

once you get fta channels , try the tring again as tring 1 is open , supersport is also ok , and the brand new W3C should be easier to get than the previous older satellites they had there last year

also try fta channels 11475V 29950 tvr international and tvr3 and tvr cultural , and 11011V 27500 best of macedonia tv

ps 16.0e is correct for W3C

What I am finding is I can get a signal for this transponder and I save position. When I select 'go to position' it shows signal dropping from 74 to 0 then back tom 80 then down and then stays at 0 - hence when i do the scan it can't pick up any channels on that transponder - any ideas?

what stb have you got as your channel memory may be full and
you will need to delete some tp,s first,
then do a manual scan.

Are you using usals or positioner? I found when using usuals it kept moving my dish itself to a different location even though it was set to 16e, Moved to positioner scanned in that channel I pasted earlier and been perfect since

I am using diseq 1.2 - it looks like it is moving after I have saved position - don't know why

It will only move after saving pos if usals are entered normally.
