hi iam thinking of new router for my pc i have had belkin 54g in the past but i would like something with a bit more umph any advice greatly appreciated.

try the virgin media site depending on the services you have they will give you a free wireless router and maybe even fit it for you.

i am from the teesside area and every argos around this area are out of stock maybe because of the price and as you said good reviews. i think the new argos catalogue is due out soon and i wonder if this product when back in stock will retail at its original price? thanx for your advice much appreciated.

I have the one Shady linked to and have no complaints, on wireless I can get 8 to 10,000 kbps almost anywhere in the house runs 2 pc's a lappy and 2 xboxes without any trouble ;)

I would steer clear of the N1 Vision, i have one of them, and the only good thing about it is the digital display..the best i have used is a D-Link DIR655. Also linksys/cisco systems make some decent pieces of kit

the one shady showed looks great for speed but not for security it only said WEP which is insecure nowadays. you want at least wpa or wpa2 if you can get it on the router.

if your looking for one thats easy to setup go for a linksys. they are quite dependible as long as their up to date with firmwire and the network drivers on your computer.
