Hi,
i want to replace a broken ecu from BMW X3 with Diesel engine.
DDE6.2
Bosch 0281014175
BMW X3 3.0d M57N2
Is it enough to copy the whole content of MCU, Flash and EEprom to the new (used) ecu?
What about the EWS-System? Is it working after copying the data?
I tested to read the damaged ecu via BDM-port (with Xprog) and it looks fine so far. Can i damage somthing with this method?
