Hi, Nowadays you can use a combi drill with Hammer action.
So don`t need to buy a SDS drill especially if you haven`t got much use for it.
Best buy a drill with Hammer action.
Bosch is a average, or evan Black and decker for the DIY jobs.
Heavy Duty Daily use, then its the Dewalt and Pro Bosch.

Have a look at the pro range in b and q- much cheapness and good drills to boot.
If you are after a brand name then expect to pay.

I bought a second hand Bosch sds max from fleabay.. ?45 local to me. You have to save a search on ebay and get emails when someones posts. Nice tool, but the bits are ~~~~ing expensive.. luckily my exwork place used the same bits.
