I have and old sky box that has just had a hiccup. The ITV region has went from STV to Central West is their any way to reset this?:dontknow: Thank you.

What you mean just went to it mate, you turn box off and when you turned back on it had moved or what ?

make sure card is in a white one without card will give central as this is the default ch eg london

the card has a postcode on it to set the region of the box, so with no card it will default to london

you can add the other itv channels in the other channels section of the menu but it wont default onto 103 without a postcoded card for your region

Setfiretorain, yes after switching off it just went to central, the card has rarley been out of the box, it is a white card :)

see if the box opens pick tv with the white card in

if it does its working and the postcode on that card should still be set for your area and default the box to your local channels

if it doesnt you will have to add the local channels yourself in "other channels"

:embarassed: After reading your posts I switched off box took out card and cleaned it, lo and behold it worked. Thanks again you have helped this old one out:cheers:

a quick reboot of the box is a common resolve to a lot
of probs with digital stbs
glad you got it sorted.....BJ1
