Hi, last week my blackberry was stolen, so I rang up O2 and they blocked/ barred it for me.

I'm just wondering could they still use my bbm to message people etc maybe over wifi?

I think so, the only thing they block is the imei number:

but the wifi I THINK still can be used

No becuase you cant access blackberry servers through wifi, you need a blackberry data plan which can only be accessed through the network provider. If the phone is blocked, then he wont be able to get access to blackberry servers.

They will only be able to use your blackberry pin if the phone is taken outside the country.

That's odd, both my daughter and my brother use BBM through my wifi when they're at my house. Certainly my daughter since her mobile phone account is suspended.

Nope you cant run BBM over wifi as Liteace said

You cannot use BBM via WiFi without a BlackBerry Internet Service data plan through your provider. This is the only way that services that use the BlackBerry server for data transfer can be enabled.
