Hi, pretty new to all this stuff, trying to follow the guide at the moment : http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums/f205/how-do-you-get-epg-dm800-253065/#post1452559 (http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums/f205/how-do-you-get-epg-dm800-253065/#post1452559)
Everything up to step 5 was going well, but when I try and set it to save to HDD, it isn't allowing the option, as far as I can tell the HDD is set to RW when checked via device manager.

I know I am missing something, just no idea what :)

Have you checked using DCC that the HDD is mounted? Run up DCC, then click on the telnet tab and type the command:

mount

that should show all mounted devices

Done that, as far as I can tell (obviously not great with this stuff otherwise wouldnt be in this mess lol) its mounted, several lines of code end with (rw) in brackets but the last one : automount (pid653) /autofs type autofs (rw blah blah blah).

So first guess is the problem is it being autofs? Going to google myself silly on how to change it, but any suggestions in the meantime greatly appreciated as currently cannot even record to the hdd now, it just doesnt show up when trying to set recording path - still showing the old path and wont give me any other options :(
