View Full Version : Help installing frimware on Max V

Hi, ive looked on the site for help on installing my autosort firmware to my Max V but cant find what i need.

Basically ive dl the firmware but when i plug my usb cable to the box it says i need to dl driver software for usb serial driver.

Can anyone please shed some light..

Also make sure your PC has it set to com1.

Just tried looking for the com ports in device manager, but the only thing i find in there is standard serial over bluetooth link!.. nothing about a prolific usb to serial bridge....

Am i just being an idiot or will i need to download something extra?

You will need to install the PC drivers before it will recognise it.

Ive downladed the drivers for prolific and also have the firmware update dl to my desktop, when i open the firmware a box opens with.........

DOWNLOAD

channel update Browse


UPLOAD DOWNLOAD EDIT

what is it i need to do here, i have tried pressing the top download button, and also upload, but nothing happens... just a box appears with COM 3 in....

sorry for being a newbie, but im not too hot on this stuff

sorry that last thread should have read "channel data".... not channel update
