IDSS help needed

I have IDSS and updated through 2012, but now everytime I hook up to a truck I get, runtime error 91 or "unable to identify vehicle"

I have used IDSS for quite sometime now and now this happens. I installed on at least 3 pc's all xp, 2 virgin pcs (never had idss on them)

does anyone have IDSS updated and still function and confirmed still working? Maybe updated to 2010 or 2011? Maybe I screwed up with updating it to 2012.

Not shure about idss but if it uses the same dual protocol that cat et2011 uses then your interface tool wont handle the dual protocol, nexiq usb or pdm. I think its rp2010 still trying to find out

Hi Josh. I used it last week and didn't have issues. I will try it again in the next day or so

Maybe I will have to do a clean install of XP and try again, did you update it to 2012? or is your last update earlier?

tried again on virgin pc and others, got "unable to find vehicle by application/criteria" if anyone can help me get IDSS up and running til at least 2010 I could certainly help that person out.

I know my IDSS stop working like that when updating .net framework on XP. Had to uninstall framework and back to old version and worked again.

I have it on 3 pc with usb link & it works fine.
