the laptop was off , but iv got hotmail on my phone

anyone had this before or have info , on how to fix it?

A couple of weeks ago i was getting emeils saying the emails i was sending were not getting sent.Thing is i hadnt sent any emails at all. Anyway i changed my password and it stopped right away.

I used to have a simple password on my hotmail account as I only ever used it for registering stuff on the internet. One day a load of people from my address book got junk mail from some Chinese compny. it turned out that this company and others like it target a load of accounts and if you don't have a strong password then your account gets hacked and used for sending a load of junk mail to all your contacts.

Sometimes spammers spoof email addresses. It looks like it's from your but it's not.
