Hi
Do any of you think I will be able to load Hyundai GDS onto a computer which has PPS without any conflicts

Just install one and make image from that partition (as backup) then install next. I haven't heard about problems, but that means nothing.
I know about problems with pps/lexia and diagbox, elsa-win and poses, vas-pc and ediabas.

I find it best to run seperate xp virtual machines, 2 for VAG, another 3 for BMW, another 2 for Peugeot/Citroen... etc.

it is preferable to have a true multi-boot system.
(give one partition to each manufacturer)
If you update one manufacturers software you will not corrupt any other partition if it goes wrong.

Only problem doing it this way is that windows will only let you make 3 (possibly 4) primary boot partions. Another way would be to use a separate harddrive for each manufacturer and swap them in the laptop.

I didn't say you couldn't...... but when acrobat updater or firefox etc ****s it up don't say you weren't warned:p

I bet you will really enjoy reloading all that lot.
I can reinstall a base copy of XP in 7 minutes then just install the one piece of software that went down.

Smokey: don't use windows then. I have a dozen partitions on my toughbook on each hard drive. Apparently it's VERY difficult to get past 26 partitions because you run out of letters. It is still possible though!

You can try "Boot-It Bare Metal", a boot manager which can handle more than 4 primary partitions on one hdd.

I dont :) I use linux. I know I can make as may logical partions as I want but I was just making the point that windows will only boot from a primary partion.

Its not hard to have more than 26 partions because linux names them with names like 0CC000BAC000AC50
