Hello to all,
I am looking for help. I need to know the pin distribution and wave form frequency of the angle steering sensor G250 of a seat ibiza 2004. It is a 3 wire sensor. Also, connections of the assisted electronic pump (pin number and signal description) if possible.
I know the following:
Hall sesnor transforms angle to a square wave.
Signal type 5V Square (don't know frequency range need to in order to simulate)
Gnd pin is number 2 (middle. need to know where are +5 and hall signal)
Thanks in advance.

Are you getting a steering angle sensor fault code when you scan the vehicle?

Actually I am trying to replace the steering pump from a POLO that has a 4 wire sensor (Koyo) with a 3 wire (TRW) pump. And I need to "simulate" the signal of the sensor in order to make it work an avoid the error message and make the pump work at a constant pressure.

Best of luck there. Very interesting if works. Please post right results if you get it right.

4s/1 sw and 4s/2 br is the same at both G250
try the 4s/3 with the other two

Maybe not frequencie, I suppose the output is in PWM ( pulse wide modulation). Check with oscilloscope.

PWM is the case for 4 pin sensor (Koyo) for 3 pin sensor (TRW) is plain and simple square wave that depending on frequency is the degree of assistance of the pump.

I did it. I have found a way to bypass the G250 sensor TRW (capacitive) sensor and make the steering pump work (no error code).
I was wrong by the way. Hall effect is for 4 pin sensor (Koyo) pump and PWM is for 3 pin sensor (capacitive) TRW.
For those who want to know how, please send me a PM and I'll assist you with it.
Thanks and good day.

please magnacin help me as i'm in the same situation trying to adapt a trw pump with a koyo 4 pin sensor but no luck till now , i sent u private msg but u didnt answer ,
many thanks
