I have a motorola processor, from land rover freelander dashboard, mask is 2K38K - MC912D60ACPV8. I need to read for make new keys, please someone can tell me is secure processor or not. I have Omega programmer, any way to read without desolder it?

Omega dont read secured 9s12-912 mcu. u have to use Xprog or Rosfar.

UPA can also do secured HC912 but only HC912 and not 9S12 and needs a special adaptor.

with genuine tools (xprog-rosfar) u can read it incircuit with wires no need any adapter.

Yes, I know that. only want give him one more choice. Are you sure that Xprog reads secured 912, 9S12 without adapter?

My CLONE Xprog handle these jobs with no single problem as long as the menus supported.

Yes, with genuine Xprog u can read it incircuit with 7 wires but u have to left OSC from pcb.

just my perso opinion : i cannot trust any more clones. had alot of troubles with many of them......

ok , but at the end , reading of this mcu isn't useful for what needs the starter of this thread ... transponders are stored onto other module ..

hello can some one post a picture of the xprog pin out on how to read a mc9s12dg256 and where i need to aply power to wich pins are so i can use a multimeter and trace the pin
