ps3 replaced laser but now dont work

hi there im new here
just a quicky
i have replaced my laser in my ps3 fat but now it wont pull in disks or load or spin even if i manually load the game all i get are 3 flashes of a blue light upon trying to insert disk
any ideas? thanks

make sure youve put it all back together correctly, sometimes they can be fidgity and you think its right but it aint
