Hi!
The car arrived to me with this problem. Situation is that, when I switch ign on and start the car everything is ok but after a few seconds power from the IKE and some other unit go off like when ign is off but the car is still running. Fault codes: EZS faulty and some other unit "power voltage little". I checked the little battery under the bonnet on the right side and it's ok. I think there is a faulty microswitch in the EZS........
Any other idea?

2.battery is for sbc

I think this is it....
C and E class has the same EZS? if yes I prefer to swapping it....

For swapping EZS you need new flash and read EPROM from old EZS and write in new.
C and E have different flash in EZS.

If you are sure it is the micro switch that is the problem, the safest thing to do is swap the switch rather than risk the wrong flash or eeprom. Arthur.

ok, thank you guys. I will try to get another microswitch os another same type EZS and swapp only the epprom

Post EZS part number and I give you a good flash file.

Thank you but I found the problem, There is short circuit around horn system. I put another fuse and all was ok for 15 min, after the problem came back but this time the fuse is OK.... I continue the searching....

you possibly have ezs or key problem. Check fault codes and see if circuit 15c present, that means ezs does not send circuit 15 request over can and therefore aircon,wipers do not work, engine fan may also run a high speed. Try another key if that is the case

Had one like this, was the supply battery. It was an slk that does not warn of power consumers switched off as the 211 does. Thought it was the ignition switch, the car only has one battery and started fine sounded good. Had circuit 15 from EIS codes to the front and rear sam modules. Damn battery killed me.

i got a w211 have the same problem too, the EIS is new, only used 6 months, when turn on, front panel no power, if pull one of the EIS wire out, the power comes back, car can run, all keys behave the same.

could it be the micro switch problem too ??
no fault code present.
any idea ?
