Hello,
i would like to know where the mileage is stored in the Mazda 6(petrol) year 2009.

Dash - OK
ECU ?
BCM ?

is there any detailed tutorial where the mileage is stored on most vehicles ?
AUTOCOM CDP show how many mileage are driven since last fault codes are deleted

DID A FEW TIMES ARE MACHINES FOR WARRANTY SERVICE - ONLY the dashboard, all went well

you mean only the DASHBOARD ? Autocom CDP Pro show how many mileage are driven since last fault codes are deleted

I only ever do the dash!
Had one come back after engine blow up, rejected warranty claim and dealer told customer true mileage.
They said "read from ecu"

petrol or diesel engine ?

you were not curious if this is true ?

does anyone know more info?

why are so few interested in this topic ?

As young Eric stated just dash will do iv done around 100 of these all of which were sold back to Mazda main dealers I'm sure some would of had warranty work done , yet never had an issue , strip out is no more than 2-3 minutes EPROM on the back of the board be sure to get a good reading as immo is also in the dash

It was true alright, because I collected the car from the dealer with the customer!

But like Martin, I have done loads before and since without issue.

Probably some smart arse visiting from Mazda who knew a trick or two?

Mazda and Ford use same diagnostic tool IDS

Mazda I was do some after 2007

I never have problem with Ford after corection km, need to erased the errors
if it the diesel after 2007 , the engine lamp is on, and not have errors inside
its need to take out the batery 1 minut

I think its work the same like Mazda
