Hello, I am going to try and learn about chiptuning and need some advise.
I have worked with mechanical tuning and aftermarket engine managment systems, but this seems a bit more complex with all new things like vanos, egr ,dpf torque limiters and all other things.
I know this will take a long time to learn, but I am not out to do this for a living, only do it because I am curious and want to learn.
So I have 2 cars that I can test on and its no big deal if they blow up.
A BMW 316i 1997 manual, DME 1.7.3, bosch 261203660, sw 1267355934.
And a Ford Transit 2,4tddi 2003 asm 90hp.
Can I read and write these ecus by obd or bdm ?
What tool or tools do you recomend to start with ?
Does anyone have damos for these cars ?
I have winols, upa-usb and x-prog-t

Best regards

Sorry for writing in Swedish.
Det ?r ju inte s? uppskattat att inte tala engelska p? detta forum, mellan V?ster?s och ?rebro.
Trevlig P?sk;-)
