Hello DK - can someone please tell me, will the G chip work with older Toyota key with the dot on the blade?
Authentic zed bull reads G chip as "Toyota G chip", but shows #67......shows 67 on "dot" key.
is it like the new 80 bit ford? it works for the older ones as well?
thank you m8s

There's no info that I know of that indicates that they are backward compatible.

That be NO!! Toyota/lexus are NOT backward compable. I have done the test on different models and year and no go. Ford is backward compable there 80bit will work for a 40bit 599114,but if re-chip it will only work on a 40bit only!

Once locked to 40 bit, will this allow the "used" 80 bit ford chip to be cloneable?

It worked....
Someone programmed an "80" bit ford key to a 2010 "40 bit" ford escape. I was able to read the 80 bit key with Bianchi/Keyline 884 cloner and copy the key to TK100 head and the car started fine, this was good news.

Many are telling me this is ridiculous, they say it was a "re-chipped" key, but it was sealed "SA" 80 bit key. Has anyone else done this, or was this just a fluke?

Some machines copy. Its really a fluke it not suppost to do it,but the ford accepts it. My friend does it to get by the second key. Who ever makes their transponder system now will find the flaw and close it. Toyota has been using the 80 bit chips in remotes for years now(the ones that are reuseable but not cloneable. Me and someone from key pro has been working on resetting the ford. He does not want his name mentioned.

page 2 = 00 = 40bit
page 2 = 80 = 80bit
used 40's and 80's can be reused in their respective autos
A virgin DST+ can be setup to work as a 40 bit, but thats a waist
