Hi,
1) if u have original ecu for your dashboard u can swap flash+eeprom from old to new ecu after the car start:
2) but if u need pin code from your dash eeprom,your dump is not enough u must read the flash too & load it here to get the pin code.
3) PS:be care u can't adapt your dash to another ecu.he don't accept adaptation Chanel 50, these engine control units which do not support the channel 50 adaptation,to adapt must use avdi scan tool (AN037), or swap same above in step (1)

4) so u must to try because i thing your car is diesel,and my idea about petrol cars..maybe is the same.

What data You need to know to make adaptation with An037? Anyone have it tested with edc/med17?

I am still fighting with my Touareg V10 - 2 ECUs. Ch 50 is not availabe to adapt IMMo, I heard that its possible do this via AN037. Read OLD ECUs and match with NEW.

what is your touareg year? if begin from 2006 and up the adaption Chanel 50 is not open, Chanel 50 can done before 2006, and about AN037 if the 2 ecus old and the new are the same all reference numbers, after can u use AN037,this can done if your old original ecu data eeprom+flash are ok.

Gooing better ;) NEW ECus 2007 not mateched with Kessy etc. Old ECUs - still working with Keesy, immo etc. Also CH 50 on oldone working, but on the NEW not.

this your new ecu 2007 can't adapt to the car this is no more possible. not support the channel 50.just if the 2 original and the new used ecus if the same........after can adapt by AN037.
but your old ecu is earlier and can open Chanel 50. so you can't use ANO37 to adapt from earlier to new starting from 2007.

can not it be extinguished.
to display when the vehicle is turned off. flashes and the left and right display.


with avd read and change km,,
to reset, actuator test, the test signal indicator .......


I tried hot air or fluxs,


same problem
