Never used them but know of 2 others who have used them and had no problems also give you a 12 month warranty

i recieved my vu solo clone today it looks like original and performs like orginal why pay ?200 when you can get the same thing for ?110. i have no complaines came with latest kernal with blackhole image

i got it off a seller on alibaba n yes it had the v2.0 sticker so it had the latest kernal

VU+ solo has arrived 4 days after ordering from dreamboxparts, very quick considering its came from china.
On inspection it appears to be ok.

Will have a go tonight to set it up on the motor, hopefully all will be ok...."fingers crossed"

did it come straight from China or from a UK address?

The Clone Duo's seem to be standing up pretty well as for the hard drive just rob one out of a skyhd box problem solved.

Paypal Payment went to aspley email address through dreamboxparts web site. Direct from China

Never bought the duo went for a Solo, not sure if you can have an internal hard drive in the solo, but I do have a 200gb external drive attached which works spot on. Im still ironing out the little problems.
I would say though the vu+ solo is up there with me DM800 so far.

Solo only takes External drives although i have seen a mod with one fitted internally not for the faint hearted though

Dont blame you mate had the 9000hd and someone bought mine for ?100 on ebay, I got it for free to start with so no loss on my behalf. I then reinvested the coin into a dm800 which cost ?140.

The good thing with the Spiderbox 9000hd was..........hhhhmmmm....hhhhmmmm...Sorry!!! cannot think of anything.

maybe a couple of quid more with the current exchange rate, also depends if you pay via paypal and maybe even Visa/Mastercard they all seem to vary there rates.
