Hi im currently using a vonets wifi bridge with my openbox so my usb port is already taken but i want to record onto a usb hardrive so if i use a usb hub to expand the number of usb ports will i have any problems?

why not just use the power adaptor that came with the vonets?

They don't come with power adaptors.

Hi there is a connector on the vonet which is connected to a usb, see the picture below

Is this what you mean by power adaptor?

openbox doesn't recognize hubs.

Adam, connect a 5 volt power adaptor to your vonet widget, then you wont need to use the USB port for it..

Buy a Mains USB adaptor then, and a USB extension lead if you need one... Something like this...

Hi there guys I am wondering if i should by a openbox x3 but am stuck as it only has 1 usb port and was considering buying a usb splitter/ usb hub to extend the amount of usb's that can fit on it.

My question is would it be able to hold everything on that usb splitter
