Problem is not reading and writing this ecu the problem is checksum and if you have problem writing you are in trouble as there's no boot mode solution for it yet

I'm confident that byteshooter will soon support the SIMOS used in VAG 1.6TDI CR with RSA support. Keep an eye on their website
ByteShooter Flashtool - Home - ByteShooter Basic, ByteShooter Crossfire, ByteShooter Truck, ByteShooter Mini, K-Line, L-Line, CAN, IELEC (http://www.byteshooter.com/en/home)

That would be a grateful surprise! I've heard too that REVO will come soon with a solution too... but who knows :)

I think REVO already has solution for them - they offer on their website - but noone else till now
People talking for this long time and often heard a solution will come soon - but don't know when exactly

I have flashed a PCR2.1 over self diagnostic, 19 Update programming, with a frf file.
But before you must edit the mot01.stt file

Did you modified the mot01.stt file ? Without modified it does not work.
But be carefull, look at TPI for new ECU number

yes like

03l906023ap ; 4592 ;03l906023b ; FL_03l906023b_6919.frf ;
03l906023b ; FL_03l906023b_6919.frf

but i think editing ODX file is a solution

None. ECU has to be opened before OBD.
