Are you sure its the power supply. I've had a number of s10 and s11 that have gone dead but the power supply was fine in another box.

I think you could buy any make ac mains adaptor for it that has the right size connector on the end, it just has to be 12 volt 2.5amp output..
Something like this..
UK/EU Mains-adaptor 110v 240v AC-DC 12v 2.5A (for Intercept-30 battery-charger) | eBay (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/UK-EU-Mains-adaptor-110v-240v-AC-DC-12v-2-5A-for-Intercept-30-battery-charger-/350531532452?pt=UK_Computing_DesktopComponents_RL&hash=item519d4eb6a4)

Hi
There someone on ebay selling them but they`re ?16 and theyre for s10 and s11, Ive not seen an s12 so dont know if theyre the same.
Openbox S10 S11 Powerboard Power Board PSU Power Supply Unit | eBay (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Openbox-S10-S11-Powerboard-Power-Board-PSU-Power-Supply-Unit-/230771807530?pt=UK_ConEle_SatCableFreeview_RL&hash=item35bb12552a)
As dw190 has pointed out its not necessarily the psu at fault. I also have had a few gone dead and psu were perfect.

If there is something wrong I would offer a full refund for the return of the box. Better to lose a few quid than you rep on there.
If you have a good record on the bay its best to keep it.

yh im giving full refund. cant be bothered with hassle, the buyer clearly wants to return the product. i got a feeling hes just swapped the product for his old one. hes saying hes using his old openbox for the time being. i should have took pic of serial number but forgot, all new to selling stuff on bay.
in regards to rating, mine is mostly from buying and not selling, i only have +21 with no -ve feedback

When selling anything that's woring perfectly on ebay you should copy serial numbers and mark them with magic marker. Postcode markers that only show with Ultra Violet.

I dont think it matters on Ebay, the rules are in buyers favour whatever, especially if they raise dispute... A buyer could return an empty jiffy bag, as long as its tracked and signed for then they refund the buyer...

electronic items are hard to sell, expecially small time sellers like me, people make any bs to scam the s**t out of new sellers.
this is why i prefer selling on gumtree, less potential of sale but less hassle with the likes of paypal always favouring buyers.

Hi
Just bluff him, ask him for the serial number so you can check your records and mention that once youve recieved youd check the mobo for your postcode marking.
If he is genuine it wont bother him and he`l send the box back but if trying to scam you he`l just make up an excuse and not bother sending it back to you.
