Ok so i got AEG version removed the protection, those particular driver files wont load. But still ecm identifies the maps and let s u modifiy them...it simply wont display them.

How cool :D i dont know how to fix it...but but who cares..works the same...who needs the stupid map tree.

I need some help. When I open the Audi TT bin, it searches for a driver and finds one. I click on it and click "Accept driver".

Just cancel the dialog that asks you to save the file in internal DB an a "save to" dialog should appear :)

Your gonna have a right laugh tuning that . to make one good file you need one dyno and alter 52 maps ...lol. Plus about 3 spare weeks altering each individual map to see what they do. The alientech driver for it is the biggest pile of rubbush going. The map names are wrong , the maps are wrong . tune using that driver = blown engine. It took me 6 months to compile a proper map driver for that bike. I tested every map , found the o2 off which another firm later stole. My driver is available to people who use original winols if people want it. I have also finished the panigale.

The program works, but the drivers are horrible. dont recommend it to use this crap! only a few display the maps correctly and name the maps correctly....... A FEW ! of the 17000 drivers...

I think we are not understanding each other. You need two things to do remapping;

1. A flash tool to read and write the ECU (e.g MPPS, Galletto, or KESS). These will come with their own software to operate them. All the software does normally is save the ECU flash memory to a file on the PC, or write a file to the ECU.
2. A piece of software such as WinOLS or ECM to edit the file, and of course you also need the skills to edit the file correctly to give a safe performance improvement.

So what car/engine/year do you want to remap? I'm guessing opel 1.9 cdti? MPPS is the best tool to read/write these in my experience.

I think the 1.7dti is Bosch EDC15M, same as 2.0DTI. I've had success writing with Galletto 1260 on these. You can't read the ECU via the OBD port, only by unsoldering chips. You need to find the hardware and software version of the ECU using opcom (Diagnose ECM) and paste the output here, and I'll try to find you the right ori file.

I've been reading and writing many 1.9 CDTI using MPPS clone V5, it works perfectly for 95% of them (I've done around 40 1.9 CDTI remaps) both Z19DT, Z19DTH engines, EDC16C9 and EDC16C39 ECUs.

A couple would read but refuse to write with MPPS (one was EDC16C9, the other C39). These are the only times that I've had to use BDM.

I think you misunderstood me. A galletto will NOT read the ECU in a 1.7 DTI, only write to it. Therefore it is not posible to copy the ECU with a galletto.

thats a little strange cuz I?have heard some people use it to copy the original ecu and remap themselves rather paying 300***8364; in a shop to do it

I'm not saying that you cannot do your own remap. indeed I have done my own remaps for the 2.0 dti which has the same ecu as your 1.7.

Hi! I think you can install W7. Go into bios setup and do some changes there. Change secure boot settings and maybe you have some legacy settings there. This is a bit different from model to model, but it allways work for me.
