Hi people,
I bought a vu duo clone 3 months ago[yes 3 months ago] .
I finally set it up yesterday,
Flashed the the secret update kernal
& flashed the vu with blackhole 1.72

right then the problems started, First of all I get some channels eg; ssports12 but not 3 and other random channels are missing like good food,[do not clear]
secondly after rescanning, the sound is missing on some channels eg ssports 4.
what could it be? Its not my server ,
Should I just reflash, or is there a solution
btw i have both tuners wired to my lnb
Thanks

thanks for your reply, no option to select a different audio stream on those affected, restared cam but still get some channels while others are missing.
reconnected my dm800se, and everything works fine on that, so at the moment im at a loss

hi, potrobber finally got around to setting up my vu clone.
just swapped cam from mgcamd 138 to cccam 221, and just like you said all the channels clear.
My server recommends I use mgcamd, so gonna try another image or different mgcamd to have a look and see how it goes,

potrobber what image do you use, and has mgcamd always caused problems for you on vu's
cheers

potrobber, i just found some info another site which said this;

Just to say I got it sorted and for anyone with this problem you need to go into mg_cfg. in usr/keys and as alpa says, change box type to B { 0 6 }. Hope this helps!

Ive just tried this and all seems to be fine now with everything clearing on mgcamd,
having said that ive just seen your mg cfg file and your file already has the right setting so thats even more strange

OK, just an update, I just flashed bh 1.73, but still had the same old problem with mgcamd 138,
so I performed the trick above and now its working fine

DO NOT and i repeat DO NOT get your softcams from TSpanel on blackhole image this is what is causing the problem more or less, I have the so called official ones that are just for the Blackhole image.

Not too sure if i can up them here but probably not due to rules

agreed, i personally find the quality control of included plugins rather lacking for TSpanel.

thanks digi

tspanal emu manager install of mgcamd was causing all the trouble

i take its just with blackhole images this is happening on?

i for one will be giving tspanal emu manager cams a wide berth from now on

thanks all for help

I think TSpanel on a whole is ok for general use but i do know that Blackhole and Vix for that matter have there own softcams.

As you have probabaly found out most other imgaes either have them built in or have there own feed from where you can source them.

i had this issue too, no sounds and others nothing coming up at all.... i hard reset seem to solve it but i will look into that file edit mentioned above if it happens again (using 1.35 on vix)
