Peugeot 307 Mechanical Code Convert

Hi,

Got key cutting code for my peugeoyt from dealer it is:
H00HCA0742

My local locksmith cant do anything with this he says he need a code of digits for a 307 key from 2005 with transponder.
Can someone convert it for me.

You car needs a code between 0001 and 2000
I would try 0742

Yes i saw that with instacode but with vag they also say from 1 to 6000 but that got also 8 numbers.
Peugeot also got 8 bit settings how to do this?

0742 is your code put it into instacode with key blank hu83 and you will get bitting
