Does It need any key to Install ?
For install update to your scan tool, you don't need code. You have 10 times to try software and if you liked then you will need License number and with that number you will unlock your software. When you update your unit, Scan too will ask you for License number. Put any five number and go "NEXT".
After that he will tell you "Failed" Do you need try again, say "NO". Now you can test car and software

I have one Carman Scan Lite with ver 5.3S and CM10B0HEB20101123.
Does your GK1240ENG work for me? i tried downloading it but get "access denied" from rapid's site.
