Mp3 stereo?

Here's my question, and I hope someone can answer it:

I was thinking the other day, is it possible to buy a stereo that allows you to hook up a external hard drive with music to it, and it play through the stero and also it shows on a digital screen what song is playing???

If you can help then I would appreciate it.

Not quite your answer, but I use a squeezebox duet.
This is a wireless receiver which plugs into an amplifier. BUT the hard drive must be computer based.
