I have 3 laptops , sometimes I plug in and dont get serial number, sometimes if I use a different usb socket it works, sometimes I swap the usb lead, sometimes I change the com port.
Then I use a different laptop, if all laptops no good, I use my spare upa.

Up to yet I have always found an answer.

My finest quailty chiese clone, for some reason, now has to be plugged into the back usb ports of the computer now to work.

windows don't like it in the front.

Oh for those asking why i brought a china clone, well if Pedro had answered my emails, quicker AND offered, trade, DK & VIP member discount would have brought one off him
