So i have ecu, with BDM pads covered in epoxy from tuner, i need to clone ECU.

I have an external programmer to read 95160(eeprom) no problem.

I do not care about the file in the ecu, but i need to read the immo data from ecu flash :(

Customer does not want IMMO off. Wants to retain original with IMMO on function.

Any way possible to make the flash work with e2p by manually patching it? I will use flash from dealer flash CD but it does not load 0-20000h so i need to stitch a file together!

Thanks if anyone knows!

the best tool you can use is x-prog

im not sure i follow you, how does xprog help me read flash memory?

I though xprog was for eeprom's and such for immo and cluster repair?

With a normal tuning tool like Cmd you read the complete flash
There is no data in the mpc.

Maybe I was not so clear at first with my issue.

ECU is tuned by a company, They scrapped off BDM pads and epoxy over.

Tuner put NOREAD tags in ECU, as well as evc.evc, and cmd.cmd, etc....

Cannot read on bench with my tool, as it does not allow reading if those tags are present.

I can read out the e2p(eeprom) with a willem programmer and a soic8 test clip, no problem.

So assume i cannot get the 2mb flash read out with another tool(suggestions)

Customer bought a new ECU, he is going with another tune now because he is unhappy with quality. He does not care if i destroy ecu to get immo data off. He wants HIS immo data for new ECU we are using since current one is botched.

I suggest IMMO off, he does not want IMMO off, high theft area, high HP car.

Is there any way to make another flash file(2mb) work with his immo if i have ONLY e2p data? Can i "inject" data into file to make it work?
