View Full Version : Siemens PPD DPF Problem

My brother has a Audi A3 170 2.0tdi and is having problems with his DPF. He has tried all the normal tricks to get it to work properly and has failed. We want to remove it completely.

I dont know alot about the siemens ECUs and think I may need some help.

Will mpps v12 genuine chinese clone read enough of the flash to remove the DPF? or will I have to read it trough BDM?

Do I have to disconnect the temp sensor?

I have has a good search on here and it seems that ecusafe does not work with this ecu.

Is there anyone kind enough to remove it from the file for me for free? If so he will drive the car here to me next week.

Attached is a picture he sent me and a file I have found which I think will be identical to his.

Many thanks
Smokey08

Yes DPF can be removed with MPPS read mate, but make sure you have a booster or bat charger on the car when you write it back, A stable voltage is a must on the PPD ecu`s or may fail in writing

luckily recovery works great on PPD with MPPS v12, i failed several times and was always able to recover it.
however it is not a nice feeling to hear those fans running at max and all dash lights blinking and beeping :)

hello I've read and written mpps V12 with no problems, I put the file without the fap sis was correct but I turned out the light, the problem was that after so many controls on the FAP pressure sensor was faulty, which is very common on those cars!

If you need the files without the fap I can let you let me know ....

The pressure sensor has been changed. I originally thought that was the problem. He has also checked the pipes are not blocked.

I dont know the exact faultcode but it was something along the lines of "efficiency below threshold" so I assume the pressure difference is not high enough across the filter.

I would appreciate a tested file if you have one as the car is about 90miles away from me.

Thank you.

what is the price for your solution (ecutuners), there is no dpf lights on the dash and no dtc running fine now but white smoke on idle only

If u use the solution by ecutuners , don't smoke on idle and all work fine .

no, but you can use other tool which ignores noread, or try to find here noread patch for mpps
