Have a look here (http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums/f110/iphone-airplayer-254575/) and there is software around but cant remeber what it is called, but it lets you use airplay on the pc similar to a mac, ipad.

Im starting to get the hang of this now but this airplay thing is basically if you have apple tv already and transfering to pc.

Im after somehow downloading a program of net then installing and adding the channels accordingly without touching the apple tv stuff, is this possible??

Basically I have a HTPC in my front room and without buying this apple tv box try to set it up through the pc for watching things.

The only other way to use airplay is if you had a enigma 2 sat box ie: dreambox 800 hd / se, vu etc, then download the airplayer plugin from your sources or the tspanle on your box and install, and voila airplay on your tv via your sat reciever as shown in the video and no need for a apple tv.

And it works well not perfect but ok with your iphone / ipad, not for the mac at present but rumours as it that it will be in the next operating system upgrade.
