have a Bmw M5 E61 with ecu: 5wk93914 P.no 7841684
I used information Kaos to read the unit with BDM through Xprog-m
There are 3 memory groups Config (only 4 zeros) Main memory 512 KB and a external Flash 2048 KB and you have to multiply with 2 as there is ignition and injection MPC563.
I wanted to update software with WinKfp to later software.
When i did the update i got switch mode error and restricted access. I pluged in inpa with toolset32 and i read signature error flash status 5. I have a backup of the 2 x MPC563 512kb but not the external flash. When i restore my backup the UIF reads okay and winols tells that all signature is perfect when i run AIF read in Toolset32 but its blank when i read identity all coding index are gone and Bmw progman says replace ecu with flash status 12 insufficient data.
I post dump of the extrernal flash.
The question is what do i need to restore ecu?
Do i need a set of files where i change vin and isn and put it back or can change the software version to foul progman and then update it to the right version?
