hi,,is navcore the downloads from from tomtom home page i.e. ver 6.000 etc?..Ive got maps and safety camera downloads,,just figuring out were to start,,tried a disc from pc fair,,not a clue from instructions,,,"just copy to sd card" not a lot of meat to chew on. tomtom go eu 22 chrissy present

yes... if u plug in tt to PC and run TomTomhome should find navcore for your tt and then u can downloads that

tt is version 8.010 me thinks (from tt)! the map I got on from new is map number 815.2025. I downloaded "uk maps and eu with camera for uk",,3 folders ,uk with major roads (675.1409 map).And "uk speed zoned complete",with "uk single file with all cameras". I searched folders from tomtom couldnt find navcore. I downloaded tomtom home, installed weeks ago., and then found a navcore 8.300se zip on a site. (first sighting of the elusive bugger.) ps thanks paddy for info

u need make foler named tomtom on your SD card or device memory
need copy 3 files( map keygen meta) into ;tomtom; folder
click start/run/cmd
go into folder ;tomtom
E: enter
cd tomtom enter
then u need write file path to map, keygen meta example E:tomtom/keygen_2.exe(space)E:tomtom/Western_Europe_8.14(space)Your TOMTOM ID(AAA56FTA)E:tomtom/Meta.txt enter

should be ok if not try again and again (in tourtorial is showed easier way)
if is ok in map folder is file (Western_Europe_8.14.PNA)
exit

map is allerady cracked
copy navcore into SD or device memory
and thats it!

(Message me), if its etiquette for forum. Ive got the avi tutorial from another member who posted it. Are they the same,,7mins17secs long? With "Cam Studio". Is ttkey gen a one off. I.E.one for versions 7,,one for 8,,etc?. First effort was with a tt700. All the files were on the disc. It came with advice it was simple to use. It had ttgen7,and a meta file, with map. When Ive got this together, (ttone ver8). Ill try the disc again.Have you seen the "tomtum" disc? It uses a automatic run everything file. Thanks for you time paddy.

friend asked me to have a look at the disc I mentioned, then I got a present of ttone, so Im just in at the deep-end, Ive been looking into folders and files in tt,,some have "bin" folders in navcore,,my doesnt,,everything must be text to speech,,I found a site were they have made ogg files to warn verbally of cameras. I hvant noticed my tt warn me yet of approaching cameras, do they just "flash", or talk as well??

I downloaded my tourtorial and unpacking correct (winRar) so try again.
for map series 8.XXX u need keygen named tt8_keygen2.exe (I will upload now)
meta.txt file as well just let me know which exaclly map u got (name and number)

Ifu have tt with SD card slot, earse SD card and copy there folder tomtom which in side are map tt8_keygen2.exe meta.txt

which country u need? only UK&ROI or West or Eest or Central Europe.

ill retry rar download now,,::the "auto run app". is from another tt device a tt700" its nothing to do with what your helping me with "version 8 ttone", sorry to mislead you there. My s-i-l is trying to update is own. So I was talking about previous attempts, not a good idea to have two projects runnig when a novice,,

my map Western_Europe_1GB_815_2024,,, ! will these files (meta and keygen)work with this map. Also ,Can I load my son-i-laws tt700 with these.?? I presume not..hes firmware he got from latest update was 7.903. But you never know.

yes this meta file and this keygen will work with this map. and if u want load meta and keygen to firmware(navcore) 7.903 u need keygen named tt7_keygen.exe and map named XnameX_7xxx.xxx exaple western_ueurope_792.1213

now I Think u have everythink for u ttomtom
map meta and geygen put into tomtom folder on your SD card
then run command (start/run/cmd) and go to map tt8_keygen2.exe and meta.txt
example
C:\documents and settings\paddy>E:
E:\>cd tomtom
E:\tomtom>tt7_keygen.exe Western_Europe_1GB_815_2024 AA45FTA Meta.txt
should be OK

write EXIT (command close)
in Your map folder map will be new file Western_Europe_1GB_815_2024.pna if u see this, that mean is ok 80% work done
then just copy navcore 8.xxx and finish;-D

Im going to do son in laws tomorow (go700). Ive seen how to copy, then format. According to instructions via tomtom tech dept, formatting after copying is ok, Ive got navcore8x30 which is supposed to be ok. hes prolly got some files corrupted so we trying from scratch, using your tutorial. Plan is to save everything format then install navcore, then new maps and then zip and voices folders. I may need some help with "runstartcmd",,Ive been trying dry runs ,,dragginng E;drive and meta file,maps and keygen, into a "pendrive substitute" it looked ok ,,but because not hooked up to tt,,it never got the id number and replied error. Im not sure about spaces after each item, you say leave a space after each item is added. Are the maps cracked before or after being copied into root of tt device?

Plan of attack,save all from tt, format then the following:
1 make a folder "tomtom" in root of tt device.
2 copy map, meta txt file, and keygen: into "tomtom" folder.
3 start/run/cmd, and drag tomtom folder into "run/cmdbox"? or type "cd tomtom" enter.
(Ill have to "trial and error" with this.)
4 Install navcore8 onto root of tomtom.

or

connect tt
1 insatall navcore.
2 make a folder "tomtom", copy files into it.
3 start run cmd.if everything ok , exit.
4 wtf is 4,,??

-ID of tomtom u can check BEFORE U DO ANYTHING
in tomtomhome when u plug in tt then click help/system inf/ and there is ID example AA8G AASGA
but in commandBox u wrie like that AA8GAASGA (no space between two columns)
or in tt files u need find ttgo.bif file and open his in notepad there is your ID ;-)
-yes in cmdBox between two files put once space
-remember wrong ID or no spaces or wrong letter = error, so deep breath grab a beer and passions;-)

So,,,I have to type my id into cmd box? Ive got it!! whats the order of entering into cmd box i.e. map,keygen, meta, id,..or does it matter. Can you let me know the order, if there is one.:. Should have been doing it tonite, but maybe tomorow now. P.S. Is navcore the last to be copied into root. Or first? Thanks again Paddy

Tried again and again. 3hrs, no joy, using version 8. I think there is some more to do with 8 ver. Are the 6 versions upto date? they may be easier. Re copied all old files back and got a working model at least.

I think you drag keygen then the map.
