Hi Guys,

I've been given the task to do something with the DPF on a Signum 1.9CDTI. The previous mechanic bashed the hell out of the DPF, and blocked both of the DPF differential pressure sensor's pipes.
Naturally this did not work... I've tried to reconnect the pipes, but naturally the pressure difference is too low.
I also tried to crimp the front pipe (as suggested by someone on a Signum site) and disconnect the rear, which led to no fualt codes, but I guess post injection is still switched on, as the current consumption at idle is 0,9l/h.

Is there a way to solve this manually, or should I wait until my MPPS arrives and ask someone to turn the DPF off at all?

Regards,

Tibi

dump switch .tested and work. Also you can use emulator dpf, But this cost more then tuner work.

Thanks guys for the replies, but the owner decided he can not wait, and took the car to a real idiot who sings odes about his work... But in reality I have to do loads of cars after him.

So I guess after a few weeks the Signum will be back!
