Vauxhall / Opel CCR 600 VDO Siemens code

Hi Everyone
I am looking for the code for this stereo, VDO Siemens, CCR 600 fitted to Vauxhall Astra
Not sure if it can be done by serial or eeprom
I have attached a photo of the sticker and also the dump from 24C16W
Can someone help please?

your reset counter is OK .. showing max 10 attempts

press [AS] on power up should show 10 - - - - allowing you to enter code. :)

(ignition key to accessory)

I press AS, then power up and keep pressing AS but still showing SAFE
Can you tell me the exact sequence please

press [AS] - press power - release [AS] ... should show '10 - - - -'

if that not work

for dodgy ignition......

power radio on first
hold [AS]
then turn key to accessory position


failing all that ........

test to see if you have mem +12, sometimes fuse blown at fuse box...

(check all power ign and mem +12 at harness)

Ign key to accessory, is that position 1 or 2 ?
Tried both and nothing
I think it could the fuse like you said in your previous post

prob position 2... when battery light showing on dash.

the vauxhalls have a history of dodgy ignition switches... fiddling about sometimes works..

I'd check for both feeds... if you haven't got both.. the radio will never exit 'safe' mode.

You were 100% right!
The fuse was blown, I replaced it and the radio asks for code when I press AS and the code was correct too
