system 32 config is missing or corrupt help please

I just turned my gaming pc on to see the screeb sat: system32/config is missing or corrupt.

Im away and dont have the xp cd with me whats my best solution? is there a way i can do it via usb?

Have you tried system restore?

If you are getting this error message first diconnect the printer and network cable. After that disconnect all USB devices.
Then Restart your computer and go to BIOS set all USB devices to no boot.
You will not get that error messages again.
