You need VW specific scanners for the latest cars. The number NO longer has a connection to the description.

You could try reading the code with an EOBD generic scanner. Those numbers are defined.
Even VCDS/Vag-com (latest versions) can read codes in OBD2 mode.

Just curious, what was the EOBD code?

Have a look here for regen: Diesel Particle Filter Emergency Regeneration - Ross-Tech Wiki (http://wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index.php/Diesel_Particle_Filter_Emergency_Regeneration)

Problem may be caused by the P0030 - Oxygen (Lambda) Sensor B1 S1: Heating Circuit, Malfunction / Open Circuit.

The Oxygen sensor is used during the regeneration process (protection against over fueling) and with an active code on it, the ecu may decide to wait with regenerating. That may even apply to a forced regeneration.

that was my first idea, i have changed the sensor, and clean the error, butt i still cannot do the forced regenaration, the link from rosstech that you post only shows how to do it to the old engines, this one have long coding ( i cannot enable regenaration with the code 21295, because the code must be bigger)....i have a texa idc4 but it can do it also....and the car is on "emergency mode" it doesnt pass from 3000rpm....????ideas:bird:????thank?s for your time mate!!!!

sorry i forget to finish this thread, the solution that i found was to change value parameter and simply the engine light disaper (all this after changing the sensor):
01-engine
16 security acess (insert code)
04 basic settings
enable regeneration- change value to 1
