Hi,
The key dont start the car, but the remote function work or not?
You have any device to test the key by IV (AK400, AK500, Digimaster, MB IR plus or other) ? If yes, you have to test the key and read the information by IR. If not is more dificult to help you.
In the hardware you need to check if the induction antenna are ok.
You key dump have the folowing information:
key n? 1 (first key is 0)
ssid: 79 f4 3d ba
password: ff 0d 58 2f 65 04 ae ec
key type: 94 6c
You need to check if this information is the same of the other key.
Normally the big old key with motorola mcu have the key type = 14 EC
You can change the key type in your dump and write in the key and test the key. The key type is the 2 last bytes in dump.
Note: the MB key as a limit of times to start the car (200000 times) if the limit is reach the key not work any more. The key with motorola have some working problems and is possible to write bad information in the key and dont work any more.

Great info, Thank you very much. the password is different in the working key .. I guess that would've solved the problem. well, better luck next time.
Thank you very much for the generous explanation.
