Beware if you buy 1 of these boxes as they sat recievers not cable recievers, plus its almost impossible toget the sky HD channels as they are well secure.

Ex7000 HD is a cable receiver maclee, the ex8000 is the sat receiver.

Usb and null modem cable mate, you can use both.

Thats a bummer, thought it might be a little better with this one. So far starview 4 epg is the best imo.

Short answer is NO.It's completely different,but the r.cont is identical to the ex5000.Cheers Chas.
