After posting my last 2 threads about religious Linux, I should point out that I never realised that religions came into it, and certainly not operating systems. Which Linux would your god(s) choose for you. However having looked now I fear that I must post more so that I cannot be seen as biased.

However I have to say "keep religion out of Linux, it's f**ked up everything else it touches"

Muslim Linux

Sabily (http://www.sabily.org/website/)

Zen Version

Zenix (http://zenix-os.net/)

That one has to be minimal :)

Buddhist Version

http://buddhabuntu.8m.net/

Don't be caught out using the wrong version on your judgement day :)

I would choose Linux Mint or Ubuntu without doubt - the others are sometimes just a nightmare to get to work, however the two mentioned , usually, just work after installation.

I tend to use Debian myself. Does what it says on the can and doesn't come with some of the useless software packages they get slung about nowadays.

I doubt any of those "religious" distros have many users, knocking up a "new" distro (well really just a live CD based on some common distro) takes only a few hours so these distros shouldn't be taken seriously, they are the equivalent of a quick photoshop job, time wasters for bored people.

Yes, I wouldn't take any of those customized OSes seriously. They're gimmicky at best. That being said, I would still find it quite humorous to find a "Flying Spaghetti Monster" distro. FSM Linux. Awwwyeah.
