Ford Traffic 4000 - no code possible?

Hi Guys,

I have a Ford 4000 Traffic radio here, and the detachable button part does not work. So eventhough I know the correct code, I can not enter it into the radio thanks to the non functioning buttons.

Is it possible to enter the code in a different way, or is it possible to modify the dump so it would not ask for the code anymore?

Don't know as the radio is still in the car. Will be removed only if this is possible :)
