You will need an external USB disk drive or pen drive

Hi, i've got an hard drive thats in ntfs format, how do you format it to fat32, my computers running xp media if that makes any differnece?? Thanks in advance

You can get hold of a utility called "swiss knife" of the internet it's free and very good. It will format your drive to FAT 32

mick just right click it and select format then select fat32

to format to a fat 32. But has anyone got a 7000 and got a working usb hard drive. A usb stick works ok.

I've got several different USB drives working so far, I always use Swiss Knife to format the disk (it's never worked via the cmd line in XP). I always keep the partition to 500gb and as I say have had no problems. Maplin sell some good 1TB USB drives that are small and ideal

Works ok and you can use external drive for recording

hi guys,iv just got my eurovox 7000+HD,iv tryd evrything scan th channels, once i press save after i only get th basic channels ,like bbc itv n afew others can any one please help, on how to get started,b4 i had th box super which works fine thnx guys

Hey guys, dunno if any1 can help me but basically after following all the help on these forums i have managed to get my box up and running and formatted an external hd to FAT32 and can record what i am watching. But, when i try to set something to record on the timer (pvr) when the show is about to start and the box reacts to this then it turns off and reboots thus not recording. Any ideas?
